Well, today was a bust!

I ended up not being able to get to sleep till 4 am this morning. Partially from wanting to work on stuff on the computer, and partially from my dh and Bro playing video games on the t.v. which is not far from the foot of our bed. The volume wasn’t loud or anything, but I was sort of hoping they would quit playing and I would go to bed then. That didn’t happen.

Needless to say, I didn’t wake up till 12 pm today (after my usual 8 hours) just in time for my Dad to arrive for his visit and to bring the tables to make up my new corner ‘desk’. They were his, but he got a new (to him) set from a friend for his computer room and passed this on to me. It isn’t the best looking, but it is better than what I had before. It was tiny and no room to do anything (writing etc) on the surface infront of the raised monitor area. So, by the time Dad leaves, I have just enough time to get my shower and get ready for work. BLAH!

I had a great shift. My first closing that I did on my own. The girl that is preggo that I am hired to do her mat leave hours was there to help if I needed it, but it was pretty smooth going. I needed to ask a few things, just to make sure I put it in the right place instead of having to fix a mistake..haha. But, overall I felt like I knew what I had to do. We usually work the 6-9 shift on Wednesdays together. Today was pretty busy too for that 3 hour span. Made it go by quickly that is for sure.

I must say ‘I’m Sorry’ to Jessica and Sandra. I told you both I would be around today, and I wasn’t. I thought of you both while at work and the fact that I was a no show online today. I don’t have even the smallest chance of a pop by visit, needing to go out (until later I believe) so I will be around tomorrow (or should I say today..LOL).
