Been Busy

Well, it has been a few days since I posted on here, sorry.

My brother came up to our house on Friday night to go to the race Saturday night with Dh, FIL and nephew. Well, he is still here…haha. We went down to Toronto today to visit with my Dad for a bit and so my brother could change from the clothes he had with him and grab new stuff. We have had a great few days having him around. My dh and brother have such similar senses of humour and witt about stuff that I laugh constantly with them both around.

We also still have our niece and nephew here till Friday night, their flight leaves very early on Saturday morning. I will be sad to see them go. As crowded as the house has seemed at times from the extra people (my brother included), it will be VERY quiet after they go. That will take a bit to get used to again.

Even though there have been many situations where they didn’t behave, and show the respect us adults thought they should in those situations, overall it has been great to spend this time with them.

I am hoping that dh and I can make a trip out to B.C sometime soon (hopefully within the next year or 2) so we can see the whole family and where they live etc.

Thursday we are supposed to be going to the Bowmanville Zoo (2nd attempt), lets hope the weather cooperates with us. Then, out to dinner on Friday night at a restaurant called Teddy’s here in Oshawa. It is FABULOUS. It is also strictly a family restaurant, they don’t serve any kind of alcohol, I like that about it.

Anyhow, although I haven’t done much that has been terribly exciting to write about, I have been busy with the company we have had around here the past few days.

I have work tomorrow evening, so I won’t be around during that time, but I should be around much of the day prior to that to try and get some computer things done.
